Finding yourself denied the possibility of having human interactions - which are not necessarily verbal - has been a serious blow for those who often experience moments of extreme solitude. The latter, according to some, is a dimension in which it is possible to find oneself. Instead, there are others who see it as a moment of transition towards total loss of self. It is not easy to define a threshold of stability within it. The problem arises when it is thrown against us by consequences, by very subtle forces, lethal for some, psychologically devastating for others. When the possibility of guilt is added to the whole, then one can only speak of a possible collapse. Here we are talking about a solitude imposed not by the authorities or by social policy, but by nature. Rational man has never liked dictated things.

We are living in a moment of global solitude. What then, I think so much of something that cancels its meaning, extending to the multitude. A solitude of the multiple. Locked up at home fighting with the weapons that globalization has lent us. We go around the deserted streets of our cities with sheets of paper justifying our movements. We gag when, by compulsion, we have to have interactions with the necessary social workers. It's about putting social distancing into practice, not only from one's own habits but from those shaped by society itself.

In moments like these there are two possible paths that people choose to pursue: one is made of discipline, the other of abandonment. If there is the one who will try to maintain a temporary order in his life, doing everything that he was previously used to doing, there will also be the one who will let time flow without attributing a functional value to it. The problem arises when you don't have full awareness of the instants.

Loneliness also arises when, in order to run after a square, you find yourself living in a narrow reality, more or less than 15 inches. The largest square ever, still covered with plastic, metal and other industrial stuff. An extension of one's emotions to the rescue. A separator of feelings, understandable only in person or by touch, makes them futile to subtle human perception.

Then, you find yourself having to fight with something bigger than you. You don't know how to get out of this sometimes overwhelming dimension. It happens that, driven by the vital need to breathe, you go in desperate search of what allows you to give order, often even to the extreme, to your emotions. Whether it's a photo taken from the balcony of your home or at your desk, whether it's cooking or reading a book, it's a fundamental step towards a temporary recovery.

Given the circumstances, it is easier than expected to confuse the reality of the facts with what encompasses everyday life. Observing, from an imaginary point of view, what currently surrounds us is a constant. A succession of events, news, small changes do nothing but tear, albeit slowly, the veil that separates us from the truth.

These perceptions, with the short time, change, in the sense that they slowly become more subtle to grasp, to the point of confusing them. When this happens, it means that the reality we live is no longer what it seems. It distorts, divides, almost cancels itself out. But you think it's the right one to live. Do you think it's everyday life, a set of habits. The resulting information helps our senses to grasp it as such, i.e. true.

It's Monday and, like every Monday, it happens that, in pushing away negative thoughts, the human mind tends to divide the emotional moments with those relating to the intellectual faculties. Attention, as a mediation between the self and external elements, is necessary to shift the emotional flow towards a unique. To date, for some, I consider working from home as an intellectual outlet not to be underestimated in relation to external stress.

Obsessive information is one of those things that wears out the mind. Under certain circumstances, the fear of feeling close to danger causes people to brutally analyze every word spoken or written coming from the media world. There are the upward curves of possibilities, the analyzes on the expansion, the forecast, but not the certainty that this flow can hit you regardless of the data. You can't feel caged if you have your keys in your pocket.

Every day we welcome, laboriously into our lives, numbers, data and differences with those presented previously. A closeness, albeit distant, seems to highlight a slight form of empathy towards all people. Waiting, analyzing, or simply nesting such information are processes that, involuntarily, generate a sort of emotional conformity within the social structure, in the broadest conceivable sense. Therefore, it is really difficult to remove the emotional gaze towards what throws us towards pure sadness.
